Explore topics like human rights, sexuality, bioethics, and the environment, while developing tools for faithful, thoughtful public engagement and culturally informed action in a complex, pluralistic world.

Explore Christian mission through the lens of reconciliation—with God, creation, and one another. Rooted in biblical theology, this module blends evangelism, justice, and ecology, equipping students for faithful, context-aware missional engagement in today’s complex world.

Discover the person and mission of the Holy Spirit through biblical, historical, and contemporary perspectives. Explore themes of salvation, mission, ethics, and spiritual gifts, while connecting pneumatology to your own context and professional practice. Engage diverse voices and traditions in a dynamic, Spirit-led theological journey.

Prepare for your Long Professional Placement with tools for meaningful learning and growth. Explore practical theology, models of reflection, and real-world ministry practices—supported by mentor relationships, e-portfolio training, and interdisciplinary engagement grounded in Scripture and reflexive thinking.

Gain a rich foundation in the theology and practice of pastoral care. Explore topics like chaplaincy, counselling, grief, and worship, while developing reflective, compassionate, and theologically grounded skills for caring across diverse cultures and life situations—both in everyday moments and times of crisis.

Explore the theology and practice of Christian worship across traditions, blending academic insight with practical skill. Reflect on worship as a communicator of theological meaning while deepening your capacity to lead and shape worship in real-world contexts. This module builds key foundations for advanced practical theological engagement.

Pursue an independent, final-year project tackling a practical, professional, or creative challenge in theology, mission, or practice. With guidance from a supervisor, design and deliver a unique project that integrates your learning, passions, and real-world experience—preparing you for future ministry or vocational engagement.

Explore the roles of pastors and church leaders as educators and preachers. Develop skills in Christian education, media engagement, and preaching, while grounding your practice in theology, educational theory, and faith formation across all ages and contexts.
